Selected pieces of Wabar pearl from the Wabar meteorite crater, Rub' al Khali desert in Saudi Arabia. Wabar pearl or “tears of the of harem ladies” are impact glass droplets. These little glass droplets are composed of 10% of microscopic particles of iron-nickel (from the giant iron meteorite) and more or less 90% of local sand. There is no longer any opportunity to collect Wabar pearls as sand has covered the crater and surrounding area. Some pieces are available upon request.
