Under the name "Glassy Wonders," the collectors, publishers and authors Robert Jelinek and Ismini Adami have spent years intensively collecting, researching, and publishing everything related to volcanic and impact glass in the form of books, posters, and presentations at museum events. Besides countless minerals and tektites they had found themselves around the globe, they also discovered a special type of obsidian from Milos, Greece – the only European obsidian that resembles tektites in texture and shape variations. They named it "Dragonglass Obsidian".
